A few months ago, after receiving the newest round of Distress oxide, I was inspired by a stamper to create my own background paper using one stamp and most of the DO inks. I made two sheets, the second was the stamp off of the first. That is the sheet I used here. I also stamped some flowers separately, which are not stamped off, so they stand out a bit. In the spring, which is my favorite season, I am anxious to have my flowers purchased and can't wait to get them out. Shorter growing season here in WI! By August, they are starting to look the worse for wear, especially if it's been hot and I'm ready to be done with watering. So 'flowers' are my summertime pleasure and curse.

Hmm, we have the same sort of growing season here in Michigan, though I can usually keep my gardens looking okay through Sept. I'm such a lover of Summer and flowers in the yard make my heart happy : )
I love your stamped off bg paper - I'm going to do this! Beautiful sentiment.

I love the soft colors of your summer garden. We sure chose different meanings for "Life is...".
