WT693 = Summertime Fun - favourite summer activities
When I was a kid and now as an adult, one of my favourite summer activities is to spend an afternoon in a comfortable garden chair, under a tree, with a good book and a cup of tea (lemonade when I was a kid).
I stamped and heat embossed the chair, then watercoloured it and the grass and sky areas with my Gansai Tambi paint. I stamped the sentiment and tree trunk in darker brown, and the grass and leaves in green.
The panel is popped up on fun foam.

This is a lovely, peaceful scene - great combination of images. I was the same way as a girl and still am as an adult; nothing beats a comfy chair on a beautiful day outdoors with a good book!

Sounds like my idea of summer perfection. I've never seen Adirondack (am I right?) chairs like that over here, though. I can almost hear a gentle breeze rustling in the leaves of the tree.

Okay, I am ready to relax in your chair with a good book! What a great scene! Unfortunately, we don’t have many days when you can sit outside! We are expecting a 100 degree day today! Even our rescue dog spends about three minutes outside and then runs in the house! But I do remember many days outside in Silicon Valley!
