I made another card for Valentine's Day and this time I used rainbow colors on it. I started by stamping out the images from the Simon Says Stamp Fingerprint Doodles stamp set onto some hexagon die cut panels cut from some Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80 lb cardstock.
I made sure the colors I chose represented a rainbow. Then I took an A2 sized top folding card and stuck a red cardstock of same size on top of it. Using Stitched Rectangles Stax 2 from MFT Stamps I cut out a piece of Lawn Fawn Paperbag cardstock and stuck it on top of the red cardstock using some foam tape.
I stuck the hexagons on the panel in a rainbow color pattern. The word Love was die cut from some gold mirror cardstock and the shadow was cut using the same red cardstock that I used for the panel.
The sentiment, which is from the same stamp set was stamped onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80 lb cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I stuck the die cut word and the sentiment using some foam tape onto the top panel of the card.
I added some sequins of coordinating color to add some interest to the card.
