Card # 1:
Crazy couple of weeks. Got through it with deep breaths and a lot of prayers.
But I finally managed to fit in time to make cards for our twin grandsons' 5th birthday. Instead of getting them more toys to trip over, we are taking them for a weekend camping trip where we'll get to spend a day (or two) at the Royal Tyrrell Dinosaur Museum in Drumheller. Since their birthday is on the first day of summer and this will be a summer trip, I'm adding this to the WT693 Summertime Challenge.
I grew up on a dairy farm so summer vacations were rare - I remember a whirlwind weekend getaway - also to Drumheller - so this is also being added to F4A434 "Vacation View".
I think the pop-up feature gives me enough points to add it to CT6018 for the special fold challenge.
I didn't have a single dinosaur stamp (that will change I suspect) so had to resort to seeking out digital images. I created different backgrounds for each of the cards and printed and cut out over 2 dozen little dinosaurs. Used tons of crystal effects to get them to glisten in the sun.
So, even though I don't have crazy made colouring skills, I had tons of fun fussy cutting these little creatures and creating something special for the twins. Off to celebrate with them tomorrow.
(Of course, the rest of the gift will be a photo book of the weekend's adventures.)

Your card is wonderful. Jackson is going to love it. He will love the camping trip and the dino museum, too. A perfect way to celebrate two 5 yr olds birthdays.

Oh, how fun Heather. Perfect card for your grandsons. I know they will really enjoy the card and the trip. I think you will need to be on the lookout for some dinosaur stamps. Hey, maybe you could find dinosaur punches!! Wouldn't that be a thing to behold my punchie friend.

WOW! Heather, you are amazing, and this is truly a masterpiece of dinosaurs! Your coloring and arranging the scenes are amazing, and I'm sure Jackson LOVED it and will cherish it for years to come. Our younger grandson has a deep love for dinosaurs, and his mom had me sew up a tee shirt into a pillow (he loved that tee shirt so much but grew out of it)...and he sleeps with it. How sweet, eh? Fabulous, and I'm still scrolling up to see it! Hugs! xoxo

Your second wonderful pop-up fold card! Again, your little dinosaur images are so darn cute with such a fantastic amount of fussy-cutting! Your attention to detail both in the backgrounds and little dinos makes for magnificent cards for both boys!
