Thank you Lydia for a really fun...quick cool background technique.
I followed your video exactly except I stamped my flower image after I had finished my background.
When done I sprayed my die cut image with Sheep Shimmer Craft Spray..frost. I loved the background technique.
Supplies:
Stamps: SU Fabulous Florets (ret) and A Dozen Thoughts (ret)
Paper: SU Very Vanilla Thick. Fluid 100 Hot Press Watercolor Paper
Inks: Archival Jet Black. Distress Oxide: Frayed Burlap, Lucky Clover, Broken Chine, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans.
Accessories:Gelli Plate 2 5/8" x 3" (Gift from friend). MISTI, 91% rubbing alcohol. mister, Sheep Shimmer Craft Spray..frost.

This is splendid! I had no idea you used a Gelli plate to create this! I love those layers of colors - look just like sky and a soft hill in the background behind the flowers.

Definitely have to try this especially as I have the small gelli plates, Nancy your silhouette looks incredible with that background. sometimes the simpler the better.
