This is the first of 2 versions of this card that I made. This one I consider to be more of a guy card with the bolder ink colors paired with black and white, and with less fussy embellishment.
I stamped a panel of PTI Stamper's Select card stock from my stash in a rainbow of Distress Oxides. Heat set. Die cut my WiSH and stamped/embossed (partial) Mama Elephant sentiment. Rather than inlaying (as I did in the other version, I allowed the black frame layer to recess my sentiment. (In reality, there is a smaller black panel between the sponged panel and the frame to give me the dimension I wanted.)
Die cut some stars from black glitter cardstock, using a Die-namics Blueprints set. Used several of the stars to add a bit of embellishment.

Such an awesome CAS card with bold colors. I like the stars for the guy card. That sentiment really pops.

What a terrific masculine birthday card. Love the rainbow rectangle with the word cutout. I have this die, I'll have to incorporate this great design. Love it.
