The challenge is to use at least three (in a row) elements. I used 5, forming an “X” on the board of choice. (Go check out the teapot challenge, then my ramblings MAY make sense!)
Embossing: I stamped the sentiment in black then restamped it in vm, heat embossing with clear powder. I love to use my stamping tool for this trick. It saves me from having to have a ton of different powders.
Die cuts: The rectangle the sentiment is stamped on is from a stitched die and I cut out the buttons with a tiny circle die.
Summer Colors:! I hope these qualify!
Stitching: The ric-rac has faux stitching, as does the rectangle.
PP: The colored panel of ric-rac is pp, as are the buttons.
Whew! ThatÂ’s all folks!!!!

As soon as I saw your card the colors are what stood out! Totally summer colors. Reminds me of sherbet. Your combination of pattern and design totally transforms the otherwise simple design. Particularly the outlining on the buttons - love that. Extra points for combining two rows. Kudos!

What a fun, joyful card this is! This rac rac dsp is so lovely and draws the eye right to your wonderful sentiment panel. These homemade buttons are fabulous and are the perfect finishing touch on this lovely card you made for Betty. ~Karen.
