I'm thrilled to be a guest designer for June's Color Challenge and look forward to an exciting month crafting with the amazing SCS color challenge team as well as the SCS community!
Pam is our hostess this week and she has chosen Marina Mist, Crumb Cake & Cherry Cobbler. Dessert is Beach theme.
I first stamped the lake image in Versafine then heat embossed in clear ep; watercolored scene in the given colors on watercolor paper.
I used various intensities of these colors for depth and dimension, adding some waves with marker, white gel pen and a bit of wink of Stella.
The background sky has some Cherry Cobbler & Marina mist mixed into each other resulting in a purple sky over the mountains.
I fussycut the image and matted in marina Mist and glued to white CS, then glued to card base resembling Crumb Cake color .
Stamped the sentiment, which I love, and added a diecut Adirondack chair from Taylored Expressions.
I look forward to seeing your creations and have a second card to download for this fun beach theme.
Thanks for looking!

Oh, Jeannie, what a perfect card for this week's challenge! I absolutely adore the sentiment stamps; they are so clever! Your scene is beautiful, and the Adirondack chair makes the scene invite the viewer in. We are so happy to have you with us in the Color Challenge for the month of June!
