Today Sabrina is hostessing TLC693 and has us revisiting the Crayon Resist technique. I actually have never tried the technique so this was a first for me. Sabrina's bright sample gave me the idea of featuring the kitty from TPB's Feline Good stamp set and placing her in a bright scene. Wowzers, I think I did a little overkill on the sunshine!
When I colored over my kitty I must not have gotten a solid coating of crayon because you can see kitty has some streaks. In this case, I think it works because it ended up looking like fur!
I titled this "can't miss it" because..well you know...there is no way you are going to miss this in the gallery, LOL We need to wear shades!
Thanks so much, Sabrina for the inspiration to try something new to me!

Not too bright at all; if you live with grey Irish skies, yellow sunshine is always welcome! And yes, I think the little bits of colour showing in the sweet kitty just make her look more realistic. She's cute! Thanks for trying a new-to-you oldie.

Yep, Angie, you're right. I couldn't miss it. And I'm glad I didn't because it is so fun! I LOVE that bright sunshine and the cool effect that you got on your kitty from having not colored him in perfectly. So cute!
