For todayÂ’s technique-Crayon Resist and CAS -under the sea.
I substituted prismacolor pencils for crayons as they too have wax in them and do not have crayons.
I stamped the images in Versafine ink, colored with pencils and outlined them all in white and added waves, along with heavy white pencil on the top of the card and outlined that with a blue pencil.
I sponged the inks on the card and wiped of with cloth, then added a few water spatters. Some of the DOX colors stuck to the yellow fish, adding some dimension.
Super Fun technique!!

The white resist makes fabulous waves. I have some quite waxy French pencils, probably close to Prisma, and I love that I can colour with them and then (not too vigorously, mind you) sponge some background colour in. Can't do it so much with the Polychromos. Your fishies are so cute.
