I was inspired by her flowers and focus on pink. I had intended to use a die cut panel but was just too lazy.
This is also for the May Fan Club challenge - Mother May I. This card is going to a sweet customer who just lost her daughter to Leukemia. Her daughter was a mother herself. I know it is a bit colorful but I just seemed the right thing to do to add some pretty flowers.

This is just gorgeous, Nancy. Color can be good on sympathy cards when done well and you personalise it to the recipient. What can be better than vibrant blooms and that sweet bird? I bet your client will appreciate the beautiful flowers and sponging on this as a tribute to her daughter.

Oh, Nancy, what a striking card! The roses are awesome along with the bird. The patterned paper is gorgeous as well. I love birds on sympathy cards, and this one is great.
