I stamped and coloured this image, using Inktense pencils for colouring, and adding three extra fussy-cut flowers for dimension. I was trying to find a small sentiment to fit - and this one from Lotus Blossom is perfect because I am almost right out of thank-you cards. I made a background with a stencilled trellis, but prefer it just layered on white with distressed edges. For once I seem to have a white cardstock and watercolour colour which match enough that I can layer them together without there being an obvious colour discrepancy. In the past if I've wanted to layer a watercolour panel I've always had to sacrifice more paper for the base! The camera seems to show a slight difference, but my eye couldn't perceive it.

Oh so beautiful! Love all those distressed layers and the extra dimension of the wee flowers.
