Sharing my card for today's Free 4 All Challenge F4A432 - Baby it's Cold Outside.
With the heat and humidity of South Carolina right now the cool tones of Kasiercrafts, Wandering Ivy paper collection, drops the temperature nicely.
I shared in one of last posts that we had traveled back to Washington, DC for a serious eye surgery that lasted for 2 hours in mid-March. Before we left for Virginia I knew it would be important to have elements that would be easy for me to see and use once I started creating again -- at least for a little while. This is where beautiful patterned papers and matching ephemera from the collections can be a huge help to you.
I've used Kaisercrafts, Wandering Ivy paper collection and some enamel dots, crystal Nuvo drops, and my beloved gold leaf pen (thank you Katie Sims ). Look at the depth I was able to achieve by just trimming around the antique clock! And that gorgeous Mix & Match die from Papertrey Ink cuts the vellum like butter!
This is also a good way to practice placement of your design elements. Grab a sketch and go to town!
Thank you to my sweet friends Robin, Susie, and Carolyn for hosting and creating samples for the challenge.
And thank you again friends for your visits, kind words, and prayers for a successful result to this surgery. Stents come out of my eyes mid-June YAHOO!
Love and Hugs,
Susie ~

NanaB everything about this is beautiful. I love all the layers, especially the frame and lattice. Your photograph is gorgeous too! I just had a lovely stroll through your gallery, my favourites are the special cards for Teddy. Just thinking about you two, makes my heart smile.
