This is one of my cards for the WTUI challenge this week - full challenge details are HERE. Actually, I started it for Judy's Everything Old is New Again TLC at the beginning of the month, but as it evolved and I knew it would fit this challenge, and as I had already uploaded two for the TLC, I held onto it.
The background was a wrinkle free distress with various distress oxides - mermaid lagoon, spiced marmalade, peacock feathers and wilted violet. The green mountain side was cut from something from my scrap box - probably Brushos - using a Spellbinders curvy border. I actually wanted those llamas going uphill, but still managed to cut it wrong and didn't have enough to cut a second piece. And then I thought that often coming down a mountain is even harder than climbing up, so it still worked for what I wanted. The sweet little llama stamps were in my birthday card from Donna Jeanne - they're coloured with pencil, and Mermaid Markers for their bright blankets. I added a doodled frame, and then stuck some little flower sequins in and doodled the leaves for them. Added the sentiment, stuck it to a kraft base and mailed it out.
Craft Smart llama set, coloured with pencils and Mermaid markers. Brusho green panel, cut with SB curvy border. Black and white doodling for border, sequin flowers and white doodled leaves.

I love these llamas. I don't have any in my stamp collection, and I am so longing for some. They are so darn cute!!

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who cuts my hills backwards. I don't know why it's so hard! Either way this is a fabulous card with those cute llamas and fantastic background!

So cute, love how the white doodles and flower stickers pick up the embroidered look of the llama blankets. Great bg and going downhill is much more difficult, so congrats on the happy accident ;)
