I've been making cards for about 12 years but this is my first shaker card. It wasn't too hard to make. The hardest part was making sure I had the right materials. . .confetti, transparency and foam tape. Now that I have those, I'll be making a lot more shaker cards.
I made this one for my in-laws who will be having their 49 anniversary this weekend. I tried to make it pretty (for her) but also "fun"/gadgety (for him).

I can't think of a better occasion than a 50th Wedding Anniversary to create a shaker card! I like your idea of keeping it pretty for your MIL and gadgety for your FIL - goal achieved! Great, great card!
