***Barbara is the hostess this week and her color choice was as follows:
*Tempting Turquoise (the only SU color I had for this card)
_cucumber crush
-daffodil delight
-berry burst
Dessert is flower(s)
Good colors Barbara. IÂ’d also like to thank you for the push to use this flower stamp.
ItÂ’s hard to believe Memorial Day is behind us and this is the last week of May. I was blessed to be a part of the design team for a month with 5 TuesdayÂ’s. My final contribution to the team is a Stampendous flower cart stamp IÂ’ve owned since 1992. I have to confess itÂ’s only been inked s few times as it intimidated me. I embossed it with black Versa fine ink and black embossing powder on cheap watercolor paper from Michaels. IÂ’ve had my Prang watercolors since the late 90Â’s and they finally saw water and a brush, lol. And as you can see, I need much more practice. I watered down some tempting turquoise ink refill for the background.
The Dies are rectangles by Spell binders and stitched rectangle frame by My favorite Things
White and black gel pens
As always I appreciated you comments. They make me a better crafter. Any tips you have on watercoloring is greatly appreciated as well.
Happy Stamping Tonda

Tonda, it has been a pleasure having you design with us this month. Your cards have been lovely. You did a great job with your watercoloring on this card, too! I love that the focal panel is at an angle, and you duplicated this week's colors with perfection! The flower card and umbrella are just so pretty!

Well, I have to congratulate you, Tonda. You achieved a beautiful piece of work with your Prang watercolors. I love to see ladies find affordable art supplies and get results like this. I also like how you have off-set the focal panel - very nice! It's a lovely, lovely card.

I think you did a great job with those watercolors - I can definitely see your shading on the umbrella and you even managed variations of colors in those tiny flowers - not always an easy thing to do in a small area!
