I took this picture this past Friday at Monet's Gardens in Giverny, Normandie. I was so overwhelmed with the beauty of this place, the inspiration for so many of Claude Monet's paintings. Absolutely the trip of a lifetime and one I will never forget. The gardens in May were incredibly beautiful and so fragrant.
The picture blurred when I printed it out but that was okay, the colors were so much like this in real life. Added a simple sentiment and a frame (Bayou border) by Lawn Fawn.

Beautiful! The bit of a blur makes it look even more like a Monet painting! These gardens must be incredible! The frame around it really fits with the picture!

Yes! I recognised that red azalea straight away. And more lilies on the pond than when we were there in April. You must have had a wonderful time. You certainly had the perfect frame to add to the garden feel..

Joanne, that must have been one fabulous trip! Gorgeous photo and as others have said, Monet shines through with the slight blur. Love the vines trailing down in the frame. Thank you for playing in my challenge and sharing your trip!
