Well - its been a while - but today finally I got a sprurt of enthusiasm. I must admit that I enjoyed working with inky things again.
Today I used a pretty stamp from Lili of the Valley and coloured it with water colour pencils. I used a water colour background and a gelli plate print from my stash for the backgrounds.
I cut a frame using a Penny Black die and stamped wonderful nature saying using Misti to get it nice and straight.
I will go now and see what else I can play around with to fill in the afternoon.
Hope you enjoy.

Very sweet image Helen! Reminds me of my daughter years ago. Your colouring is wonderful! I love that warmly shaded border and the interesting pattern the die adds. So nice to see you in the gallery! I haven't been posting much lately and just got back from a trip to Utah to see more of their awesome scenery. Super card!

Oh, sweet Helen, what a darling image and so beautifully colored! I love your colors and really love your Gelli plate background! It's stunning! And we do have similar die favorites. I finally broke down and bought this one myself. I hope you'll find some goodies at Gina Marie Designs. I love her prices! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
