I took two outer most dies from Elegant stax die set from MFT Stamps and die cut about 10 frames. I removed the inner die and just keeping the outer die I cut one acetate panel, so that it fits with the shaker window. I drew some sand roughly with a pencil onto some masking paper and cut it out using a pair of scissors and placed it at the bottom of a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock,. I kept the negative so that I can blend the sand later. I ink blended the waves using the Newtons Nook Wave Stencil using Distress Inks and to blend out the waves a bit I blended some Tumbled Glass Distress ink after removing the stencil. I used the negative part of the masking paper, and then I ink blended the sand onto the panel using the Distress Inks and added some texture to the sand using my Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils. I stamped some sea weed and foliage onto the panel using the Simon Says Stamp Dye Inks. I stamped the fishes and treasure chest from the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Fishes Stamp set on NSW 80 lb cardstock and colored it in using my copic markers. I fussy cut the fishes, added some googly eyes and placed the fishes and the treasure chest on the ink blended panel which I die cut using the outer most die from the MFT Stamps Elegant Stax. I completed the shaker panel by adhering the 10 frames, adding the sequins and closing the frames using an acetate window. I die cut the top most frame using the woodgrain cardstock. I stamped the sentiment using Versamark Watermark Ink onto a piece of Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock and heat embossed using Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder. I added some twine and placed the sentiment panel onto the card.
