This is one of my favorite cards I've ever made and I can't wait to give it to my friend for her birthday! Lisa (Shoe Girl) recently made a "Life is short, buy the shoes" card and it reminded me that my friend's birthday is coming up and we've been regretting not buying these dragon shoes since our high school graduation. We had gone shopping at the mall for white shoes to wear to our graduation ceremony and one store had these big platform white shoes with dragons embroidered on the heel. We loved them but didn't buy them. A week or two later I went back to buy them and they didn't have any. Just to make sure, I asked the store clerk. She told me they were so awful that nobody would buy them, so they sent them back. LOL! We still talk about those shoes...
I drew the template for the shoe in black marker and scanned it into my ScanNCut to make the pattern. First time I've tried that feature of my ScanNCut and it worked great! After I cut it out, I partially stamped the Dragon in Versa Mark on the heel and the top embossed in red. Polly's challenge was the perfect opportunity to make this card!

Fun and fabulous, Jen!! Platform shoes are making a comeback, I saw lots of them in Paris. I can't imagine trying to walk in them now though. Maybe back in the day...
