For me anything blue is comforting. I love the color and any time I see it on a card it is comforting to me.
This image was sent to me in an exchange. I colored it with copics and added nuvo drops to the flower centers. Cut down the image and layered on some teal and added some strips of DP. Finished off with the sentiment.

I agree with y o on the blue, I think that is one reason it is my fav. color. And flowers double soothing. I LOVE these flowers, but have not had luck growing them. I get to enjoy a couple huge ones in my neighborhood as I walk my dog...they are so neat. I as well love your gingham paper...like a cozy home old school materiel on the farm....will be cherished....TFs..:0)

Lisa this is beautifully done and colored!! A very comforting card, and I am sure Robin and her family will be comforted by it.
