My creative juices have been stagnant for many weeks. I have so many unfinished projects that cannot seem to see an end result that satisfies me. I start a challenge and then fizzle. Well, I at least rescued this background that is probably about a year old. Fast forward to today...our school has the most wonderful PTO and they went all out to pamper the staff with all kinds of yummy treats EVERY day this past week. They were my inspiration for this card.
I had played with some Brushos (Ultramarine and Emerald) on Yupo paper. It was so pretty I didnÂ’t want to cut into it and couldnÂ’t think of an idea to showcase the bg without covering it up. I applied distress glaze to the panel, matted on to turquoise vellum then on to purple vellum. Very vanilla was used for the base as well as the fancy die cut frame (another rescue from my stash). I die cut the word thanks from purple vellum. I added clear cupped sequins and mini iridescent circle confetti from Pretty Pink Posh to glam it up for the F4A429 challenge to make it girly.

Love the way you used that square filigree frame on your A2 card. I'd have never thought to try that and it looks great! Your swirling green and blue background is beautiful. The sequins and confetti really add some lovely shimmer!

I feel for you, it's tough to get your mojo back when it decides to vacate. Been there, it's not a fun time.
However, you did a beautiful job with this card, putting together lovely elements that really showcase that gorgeous background! Sequins definitely add that extra bit of bling!
