A big congrats to Jennifer, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a lovely gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the layout & big doily image, but I used different colors, different greeting & different embossing folder.
For my card, I stamped the big doily w/ denim ink onto khaki colored card stock then die cut it. I did the same for the border strip & used a wide piece of grosgrain ribbon behind it. Just the center part of the doily was stamped again, die cut w/ a circle die & layered w/ a larger khaki circle. The navy bg was embossed & I used a word window punch for the greeting.
Congrats again, Jennifer! Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & the inside are on my blog:The Write Stuff

LOVE that corrugated navy paper below your lovely doily! Love your center band with its lovely old-fashioned design and those lovely layered butterflies...the pearl at the center of your doily is just the perfect ending touch! So pretty in the blues and white...like toile wallpaper or delft china from the past!
