I was inspired by Design Team members Jan and Clair, and by RobinsCraftRoom on Pinterest.
The Circle of Spring wreath was released by Stampin' Up in 2015. I not only used an older stamp, but also older colors... all the hand coloring of the flowers and leaves were done with SU Stampin' Write Markers from AT LEAST 10 years ago! Do you remember these colors: Mint Melody, Cameo Coral and Summer Sun???
The card base is Mint Macaron, with a main panel of Whisper White that has panel elements made from Mint Macaron and Calypso Coral glued onto it BEFORE it is run through the Big Shot with the Lifestyle Crafts "Fans" embossing folder.
The birthday sentiment was cut twice with Sizzix dies and glued one on top of the other to give added depth.
The bow was stamped with clear Versamark ink, then also cut twice and glued together. It was adhered to the wreath with two stacked Mini Glue Dots.
The wreath was die cut with it's matching SU "Wonderful Wreath" thinlits and attached with adhesive foam strips.
I think this makes a nice cheery birthday card that my sister will enjoy at the end of this month! Thanks to all the three ladies who provided me with inspiration this week!
