I made this card for Lisa (shoegirl) 's shabby chic teapot challenge and then decided it wasn't going to mail very easily. Shabby Two is coming soon! One of our own is going through a rough time and so today's party is in her honor. Check it out!

That was my very first embossing I bought and now I have so many I've forgotten about it. It makes the perfect background as it looks like the old tin punch and that's a fabulous look in the shabby chic category. Beautiful card.

Oh, this is a really gorgeous shabby chic card! I love this embossing folder too, and even more so with the delicate shading you did on it. Your delicately shaded flowers and leaves with your organza ribbon are just perfect for highlighting your wonderful stitched sentiment panel with. I am really impressed with this gorgeous card! ~Karen.

I love the way you enhanced the embossing, is that chalk? Very beautiful effect. I love the printed flowers as well, but you are right, they are hard to mail. Great shabby chic card!

This is so beautiful, Jean. Love that embossing folder and what you've done with it.
I can totally relate to the mailing issue. I find myself adding and adding until it doesn't fit into the envelope. I have frequent flyers miles at the post office.
