This really is a WFD bg, but with my usual inability to stop adding stuff, it ended up looking like mud. I added some acrylic paint circles and splatter to make it look better. So it sort of counts for the TCL challenge since it really did start as a WFD bg. The mushrooms are prisma pencil blended with gamisol and fussy cut. Since they are blended, I added this to the CT0418 for April. I did resist the temptation to add bling and bows, and just put it on a plain white card, so this is about as CAS as I get....it would be a nice place for a pic nice. TFL, Francie.

It would be a fabulous place for a picnic. Muddy, definitely not - cool and shady, yep. The mushrooms and foliage look super. (I nipped in and added a space between two of your keywords so that it will show up in the right galleries). I'm glad you got time to create today and share this beautiful scene with us. I'm going to imagine that some of the little white spatters are fireflies, which I haven't seen in years.

I totally love this scene--I feel like I could just become a Lilliputian and enter it! Thanks also for generously sharing the details on how you made it. I was never going to figure out that you had used gamsol pencil technique on those mushrooms-- they are just outstanding ! I want to try something similar to this!

Your fun, funky mushrooms look wonderful against the more subdued bg and they tend to help pull up that purple tone that's hidden here and there among your foliage. Super magical look to this.

Oh my, Francie, this is not muddy at all! I LOVE it and love your masterful coloring, sweet friend! I love reading how you've achieved your backgrounds, and it's amazing! Love how you've added the circles, and I can imagine having a sweet picnic under these shady mushrooms...so cool and calm! Would love that...hehe! Beautifully done, sweet friend, and I love your coloring and you! You don't need to change a thing! Hugs! xoxo
