This card is for my DH's birthday. Normally I do a golf or sailing theme two things my husband is passionate about but this year I have decided to mix it up a bit.
The card covers three challenges for this week.
CAS479 I'm normally a bit of a purist and wouldn't consider this card a CAS card because of the layers but there is lots of white and it's certainly about pets.
Many many years ago I shared a hobby farm with a friend. We decided to grow our own meat and with this in mind purchased a cute little piglet to fatten up.
The children named her Priscilla and immediately started teaching her to follow them around the farm, down to the creek and anywhere else they could get away with, she was very bright and a great companion to the children the dog and the cat so as you have probably realised she didn't get eaten and lived to a great age. She was a pet!!
CC685 The colours for this week are Pink Pirouette, Black and white. I love the black and pink combo for clothing and have been known to wear this combination quite often. This colour combination was what inspired my pig theme.
SC695 The sketch was a little harder to execute as the piggy image and the XO stamp dictated how big, the circle would be and I didn't want too big a card. I had to mat the circles with the black so that the circles stood out. I also cut the third little pig off the image so it would fit the circle.
I did the bow and little hooves with copic markers C9, C7, C5. Shading of the bandanna was C-1, C00, C000....and thats all folks.
Happy stamping Marg
