This card has been a long time coming. It happened to fall into Lydias Mix last week.
Way back in July of 2016, just4deborah did a card that I loved and I asked her for help with the barn wood. She was so helpful and guided me through the process of her faux barn wood because I loved her colors. You can find that inspiration here...Faux barnwood, love this technique!!! by just4deborah at Splitcoaststampers.
Peachy Keene brought back the Hillybilly stamps in clear and digi last year in October. I had to buy 5 sets, I'm a collector.
So I got the straw paper out and the Elizabeth Craft hay bale to pull my fella together. With some Copic, a little airbrushing, some glittery strings, a little wet embossing and a tad of distressing on the sign "The can't Hadly Play Boyz are comin' to a Walmart near you." Of course, I had to spell near wrong so I could cross out the T and change to an R for some Hillybilly Humor. I designed the sign on the SNC2 with h the Universal Pen Holder and my Stampin' Up! Markers (that has opened an entire new world for me with my su markers). I colored in the letters with a red prisma pen.
The SNC2 cut out the boyz for me.
I hope you like them as much as I do.
Thanks for looking and leaving a comment on the fellas.
Happy Stamping
Tonda

Bwahahaha!!!! This CRACKED me UP! I love your little hillbilly scene - the straw, the wood, their FEET and the messed up sentiment - it all works together well

Howdy Tonda, I LOVE YOUR BARNWOOD TEXTURE!!! Yours is truly spectacular, the left side looks like knots in the wood! I'm thrilled that you finally had the chance to play with the technique and a huge success.
OMG, this card is so dang funny!!! Love how you colored the "fellas".
Thank you for your kind words.
Hugaroonies girlfriend!

Wow, wow , wow everything about this is fabulous AND a hoot...all at the same time. I love how you tore the edge of the funny sign. The barn wood looks real and your colouring is fabulous too. It sure is great seeing your terrific creations in the gallery Tonda.
