This card is for three challenges again, three seems to be the magic number today.
#1. is this weeks Colour Challenge to use Tranquil Tide ,Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry, which I have done using all three colours in the front panel.
#2. is for the Teapot Challenge and I have gone with weird and quirky flowers.
#3. is the Ways to Use It challenge "Hug an Australian" I have been inspired by one of Sue aka Sue28's cards found here DTGD17understandblueA Bold by sue28 at Splitcoaststampers and also gone with one of Susie aka susie australia's favourite techniques the Slap & Squirt and because I'm Australian I've snuck one of my favourite techniques in too, heat embossing.
the card was done by first slapping the three colours down on some baking paper then spraying it with spray starch before putting the panel into it. I did this a couple of times until I was happy with the coverage.
Once the ink was dry I sprayed the whole panel with home made glimmer mist and because I wanted some bigger spots of glimmer I took the spray tube out of the mini mister and flicked some of the glimmer mist onto the panel.
I then stamped the greeting and heat embossed it with super fine black embossing powder.
I then stamped the flowers or what ever they are and heat embossed them with the same black embossing powder.
The rest is straight forward.
Sue I hope your mum is on the mend it is an awful thing to have happen.
Cheers Marg

Oh, Marg, this is beautiful and such a gorgeous use of this week's Color Challenge! I love it and love how you were inspired by Sue's beautiful card! Just love the smack and squirt method and will someday have to try it. I've so loved seeing it used. Beautifully done, my friend, and I'm so glad you've joined in this week's Color Challenge! Hugs! xoxo

Those are such fun flowers, Marg! I am always meaning to try that technique of Susie's. I know it's just a variation on wrinkle free distress, but she achieves such fabulous results - and so have you.

Thanks for telling me how you made the back panel! I will have to try the spray starch! Beautiful background panel and I love the way you combined it with the patterned piece! Stunning card!

Gorgeousness Ms Marg!! I’m going to need to try this technique. I believe it was once in the try a new technique challenge awhile back and been meaning to try it. Also maybe it time for another card for all the beautiful Sistahs from The land from down under!! Good Day Mate!

Marg, if only we could all share a cuppa and a lovely chat! No humor needed and I love that you paid tribute to your fellow Aussies. Your card is beautifully done. Love the bg ala Susie and the inspiration ala Sue. The overall effect is pure Marg and marvelous. You're going to make a teapotter so happy. Thank you for playing in both my challenges!

Fabulous! Wonderful results from Suzy's technique. Super case of Sue's card. Glad to see you use your own favorite technique from down under. Terrific way to use the colors. Fun card! TFS

Wow, Marg this is one fabulous card! The colors look amazing with that technique (which you have inspired me to try) and is a beautiful CASE of both of your wonderful fellow Aussies! Love those quirky flowers matched with the perfect sentiment!

What a gorgeous card to celebrate Australians and for the challenges too. I adore this sentiment with these fun flowers. I once had a white flower blooming among all these gorgeous colorful flowers and did that white flower cower around those colorful flowers? No! It was like the white flower was declaring, "see how great these colorful flowers look because of me!" You sure made this weeks colors sing with this card! ~Karen.
