I'm a bit late to the MIX273 party but the colour of my squid was decided by the challenge so here it is!
This is for a 9th birthday for a boy who's a big fan of iBallisticSquid on YouTube (he's probably passed you by if you're not into Minecraft!).
I had an octopus stamp in my stash but no squid and that's not the kind of thing you can hustle past a nine year old so I went searching and this cute Tiddly Inks digi came to the rescue. I printed twice so I could cut one for a mask and sponge on the ocean background over a torn paper edge. Squidy's glasses have Glossy Accents on the lenses.
Stamps:
Inking of You by Tiddly Inks (digi)
Say It All by Hero Arts (retired, I think)
Weed from Layering Goldfish by Hero Arts
Paper:
Premium weight copy paper (to print digi - Copics work well on the one I have, too)
Bristol board (for card base)
Ink:
Tim Holtz Distress ink by Ranger (Broken Glass, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean)
Brilliance by Tsukineko (Pearlescent Ivy)
Other:
Copic markers
Glossy Accents
Black fine line marker
TFL!

Oh, Joanne, you're right about trying to get something by a nine-year-old! Ha! What a perfect card, and I love the sponged deep-sea ocean, and your squid is fabulous! The doodled border truly finishes it off perfectly! Wonderful card! Hugs! xoxo
