This card is for three challenges, the Technique Lovers Challenge - Black Ice Technique. This technique is fun and not too hard so long as you use a light hand. I did a practice run first just to see how much pressure I needed with both the dye ink and the watermark ink. why not pop over to the challenge and find out how to do it.
Second challenge is the colour challenge - to use SU Sweet Sugarplum, Rich Razzleberry & Tranquil Tide. I don't have the Tranquil Tide ink pad so substituted Distress Ink - Pine Needles which is a perfect match.
Last but not least the card also fits this months Fan Club Christmas Challenge Ice or Icicles, you will have to go to the forum and check out this fun challenge ...and that's all folks, happy stamping.

Beautiful, Marg, the sparkle is fabulous. I'm impressed that you were able to use the distress ink, I wasn't sure that it would ever dry on such a slick.surfsce. it sure looks great!

Marg, this is beautiful! I love the black ice effect, and I love the sparkle! And you have a triple-header here with the challenges! Love how you've used this week's colors on a Christmas card (so clever). So glad you've joined us for the Color Challenge and also joined in for the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge! Love it, sweet friend! Hugs and love! xoxo

Very pretty card and intriguing technique--I'll have to go check it out. Kudos to you to be making Christmas cards in April. The green color looks like a pine bough!
