For the Teapot Party today, I went with the Faux Silk technique. I stamped the image onto tissue paper and Mod Podged it to the top of the DP. Added gauze to a couple corners and then applied another layer of Mod Podge. The hummingbird was fussy cut and heat embossed with clear EP.

Beautiful card, Denise. The blue flowers are so pretty with the faint script. Your lovely design could be a silk scarf! Great job on the faux silk technique and lovely embellishments. Thanks for playing in my challenge.

Denise, what a fantastic card featuring the gorgeous SU stamp set! You did a great job using the faux silk technique. I love the blue, black, and white colors of the card, and the gauze and ribbon are great additions!! BTW, thank you for your sweet comment on my card, Denise!!

So very pretty and the details are especially nice. The gauze was such a nice extra with that technique. Very pretty, Denise. Thanks so much for playing.

Oh Denise, this is just beautiful! I saw it yesterday but never had the computer on and thought I'd wait till today to comment. This is one of the techniques I was thinking of, it's such a lovely one. And adding the gauze (and the silhouetted die-cut) dresses it up even more. Such a treat this will be for whoever gets it.
