This is for a friend's 11 year old grandson who is a fan of my cards. Every time I send his grandma a card I guess he examines it closely and he's just amazed at the "magic" of stamping, embossing, etc. So I wanted to send him his own card as a surprise. I went with this forest scene as my inspiration. Thanks for the challenge Stacy!

OH, my gosh, Polly - what a sweet back story! He will love this, and I love it too! Love the scene with the deer and then the embossed trees in the bg and the little green leaves tucked throughout - faved!

How nice of you to make this great, masculine card for the young man who likes your cards. He's sure to enjoy this with the embossing and die cuts - lots to examine! My 11 year old grandson would like this card : )

Oh, I just love it that you are sending a card to friend's grandson! That is awesome! I remember once when my son was in middle school he invited a friend over and all the friend wanted to do was stamp some cards for his mom!!! It was super sweet. He made several. I love that you embossed the background in trees to keep the forest theme going! Beautiful card!
