I have been MIA for months now. I spent much of January prepping food before my knee replacement surgery as my DH tries, but is a novice cook. After the surgery, I slept a ton and all of my creativity seemed to be channeled into healing tissue, because I would go down to the stamp room and just sit there staring at the desk. This week I have been sticking my toes into the creative pool and decided to take a shot at todayÂ’s Free for All challenge. I find fussy cutting relaxing. I used a piece of hand made striped paper and embossed it with the number collage embossing folder. I stamped colored and fussy cut the sneaker image from Epic Celebrations and then stamped and fussy cut the celebrate greeting from Amazing You. I created a quick background with the sneaker image and layered everything up. Wink of Stella was used on numbers on embossed panel and the greeting. This card is going out to AprilÂ’s Cards for a Cause. It is nice to have some stamping MOJO back!

Love your colors and especially your handmade striped paper. Great fussycut work and overall design.
Sending you healing hugs and recovery. My mom just had a knee replacement in March and she’s doing exceptionally great for 81 years young!

First, I love your turquoise creation with the fun sneakers and embossed numbers - great for a birthday card.
Second, welcome back! I completely know about losing the creative drive post- surgery. Last January I had bunion surgery and it was a difficult recovery. I did the same thing you describe; went down to my stamp room and couldn't get started on anything. So glad you're back at it!
