What a fun sketch from Carey today. Perfect for my Gerda Steiner Monthly Challenge April card. I was so excited to have this gnome couple arrive in my email this month, because I kept lamenting my lack of garden gnomes after Jan's statue VSN challenge. Well look, now I do have garden gnomes and aren't they cute?
I printed out the mushroom and sentiment separately from the couple because I wanted to be able to pop them up. I got my new Spectrum Noirs yesterday, so I used a few of my new colors. They're beautiful. I drew a door into the mushroom to make it into a house and finished the card with some fun DP. When it was done, I thought it needed something else. So I used one of my many many butterfly stamps. They fit in there perfectly to finish off the card.
Ink: Spectrum Noir and Copic markers, memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Brother ScanNCut, gel pens, computer generated sentiment using "Tired Panda" font from the hungry jpeg, foam mounting squares, Stamp-a-ma-jig

This is such an adorable card Jennifer!! I love the way you did the black edging. Your cards always have that great "Jennifer" style - easy for me to find in the gallery. :>)
