Unfortunately I did not have ANY poppy stamps...but after searching my craft room I found ONE pre die cut Blazing Poppy blossom from a Heartfelt Creations grab bag I ordered...let the crafting begin ;-)
This is a simple card enhanced with black corrugated cardstock. The "notebook" sentiment was from a 6x6 Jen Handfield Warm & Cozy pad. Everything was sponged with Memento Brilliance Graphite Black ink. The base pieces were layered and I only applied snail to one side of the "notebook" note and tucked it under the corrugated cardstock so it would truly give the appearance of a little tucked in note ;-) Lastly the poppy was a adhered

I think this serves as a fabulous substitute for a poppy! Gorgeously colored.

everyone DOES have a story to tell, and your card tells a lovely tale. great save finding the lone heartfelt creations poppy. i love its new home amidst your distressed background and the little tucked in note.
