I do not like to hand draw with a pen or doodle more than a couple of squares while on hold on the telephone LOL....
The tutorial was fun to learn from
So here we go....
I stamped the sentiment and then hand drew the banner around it...
Next I made the "Stormy Seas" shaker globe with a Ken Oliver Color Burst panel I had from when I made a bunch and then embossed. I die cut turquoise glitter waves and layered three rows. Next I stamped the sailboat and fussy cut. Coordinating sequins were mixed together and added. Everything was assembled and clear Dew Drops from Honey Bee Stamps were added ;-)
I love all the fun challenges on SCS...even the uncomfortable ones ;-)

What a fun shaker card. It sounds as if we are in the same campwhen it comes to drawing and writing...wish I'd thought of stamping my sentiment. Banners always look good with marine themes, and your Color burst background is beautiful.

Super shaker - those sequins make an awesome "stormy sea" with the requisite white caps. Smart idea to stamp the sentiment (I feel hand lettering challenged too) and draw the banner around it.

Your shaker card is gorgeous! I love the greens and blues, the sequins, and the torn edges! That banner with the little lines looks like an etching and goes with the ship theme to my mind. Love it!
