Made this little card as a CRAK for a co-worker who is such a delight to work with. Her job is always challenging, but she has had an exceptionally challenging few weeks. I want her to know that her efforts have not gone unnoticed. We have a company recognition program, but in this case, I thought a handmade card was a better choice than picking an ecard from an app. She loves cats, so I just had to add one of the cuties from Mama Elephant's Little Cat Agenda.
Card is pretty self-explanatory. One thing I did do is to stamp the image on the DSP so that, when I fussy cut the post-it note and clip, I would have neither a white center on the clip, nor a nasty looking fussy cut to try and get the white cut out. This way, I was able to just line the fussy cut image with the stamped image on the DSP to get the look I wanted.
I also wanted the sentiment to pop, so I stamped it with Versafine and clear embossed it.

Oh, Debbie, YOU are the best, and what an amazingly thoughtful thing to make a special card for her efforts in her job. I remember how much it meant to my staff when they were recognized, and she is going to LOVE this card! I love the wonderful finishing touches you add to your card -- like stamping on the DSP so the clip has the correct background. Beautifully done, Debbie! I love your style and your cards! This is adorable with the little cat! Hugs! xoxo
