Framed Lighthouse (Open)
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: Cook22

This is for my nephew's birthday. I combined a simple Chibitronics circuit and the Shadowbox Frame card tutorial.

I also, evidently, forgot to stick the Birthday Wishes banner in at the top of the oval, and it was so hard taking a photo and pressing the light on that you will just have to imagine it!! (ETA - edited the unlit photo on the left to show the banner)

Image stamped on white card and masked. Sky sponged in with distress inks, rocks coloured with pencils. I cut holes in the lighthouse lantern, and used the Creating with Chibitronics tutorial to complete my card front.
Then I decided to create the Shadowbox Frame to finish it, as I should probably have made the image panel smaller than A2 in the first place to get a neat finish. I used Lawn Fawn's Push Here to indicate the interactive element. Because of the shadowbox frame, I don't need to insert a protective strip to stop the battery lighting up in transit.

You can see the card front HERE.

What a wonderful gift this is! One of these days I'll get chibitronics and give it a go!
