For today's Teapot Party, a card for my twin sister. Although I come from a family of six, my twin and I are the closest.
I saw this beautiful card BLACK ICE by eagles777 at Splitcoaststampers made by eagles777 using the black ice technique and just had to try it. I really like how it looks but it is very difficult to photo.
Thanks for the fun challenge, Polly.

WOW I've never seen this technique...it's so beautiful...it looks like rain or moisture reflected on a window. And that sentiment is wonderful...it'll be perfect for your twin sister.

You have a twin sister? She's going to LOVE this! I noticed that this week's FS had a card using the black ice technique and it intrigued me. Beautiful results! Hey, maybe we should send our sisters out shopping together. I get so impatient watching Lynn look at every single thing on the rack and then not buy anything. LOL!

I never knew before that you were a twin! The girl I did my French exchange visit was a twin. That technique, but a different person, caught my eye last week too and is on my list to try. Your butterfly certainly looks pretty amazing on screen, and as you say it was hard to photograph it must be even more so in real life.

Gorgeous! This is a new technique to me and I have already decided to look it up based on your stunning results. Love it. I've always wished I had a twin so I'd have an automatic best friend. No such luck.

Your card is beautiful. Your sister is going to love it. I had not heard of this technique until I got a card from my sister that she had used the Black Ice technique on it.
