It's time for another fun challenge for Fan Club members, and I hope you'll join us for April's Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge.
This month's challenge brought me back to thoughts of making a quilt. I haven't made a fabric quilt in years, but it was fun to make a paper quilt. And with all the pieces I have left, I will be able to finish two more cards from the three "fabric" selections used in my quilt. I used the Stampin' Up quilt bundle that I had to have, and it's fun and easy to do. I used Scor-Tape for the DP and then "staged" the colors to see how I wanted them arranged. It was easy to stick them in place and then use my Mini Perfect Layers tool to have a nice border. I stamped the sentiment, embossed the background, added another red mat, and then wrapped that with red twine. I popped up the quilt with dimensionals and then adhered it to the base. Far easier than sewing a real quilt! Hehe! This month's card now gives me three cards - love that!
I hope you get inspired to join us as we make our 2018 Christmas cards throughout the year! Stacy (Twinshappy) has shared some great challenges so far this year!
Thanks for taking a closer look at my card! Wishing you all a blessed Easter, Passover, and a beautiful week ahead! Hugs, all!

Gorgeous Cheryl ... I must do this challenge this year. I keep saying I will, but this time is the charm, especially when I see your beautiful inspirational card.

What a pretty quilt card, the white die cut shape gives it such a lovely crisp look and the textured background is perfect! I bet the other paper combinations will look lovely too!

Cheryl, this card is absolutely stunning. The paper choices you made when making your quilt pattern are awesome together. And the white embossed background is perfect to show them off. Gorgeous.

This is about as close as I would get to quilting. A Christmas quilt on paper an it looks wonderful Cheryl. Very pretty and oh so much easier than creating a real one. hee hee
