One of my samples for the Hinged Cards TLC this week - you'll be able to find the full challenge details HERE
The details for how I created the background are in TLC604: Reverse Image - a challenge from KellyJean. I'd used a BoBunny snowflake set, and tumbled glass, salty ocean and evergreen bough. One unused piece has been sitting in my scrap box for the last year and a half, and it was good to find the perfect use for it. The little snowman from Quilts Give Comfort was a reject piece from the snowman sampler I made as a Christmas gift, so it was good to find a home for him too before he got too shabby! So the image piece is 2 1/4" square plus matting, coloured with pencils and Twinkling H2Os.
I embossed the top panel and swiped over it with white ink, adding a Stickles border.
Because I'm not sure where this will be going and DH didn't figure out how it worked, I added a little tab with Lawn Fawn's "Push Here" set to make it obvious.

Love what you have done with the background here. Adorable snowman image. I don't think I have ever made a hinged card before. That will change today. Thanks for the challenge.

Amazing...bg, hinging, snowman. This looks like such fun, and even though I have a headache with the snow today, I'll give this a try, mf.
