Shirley's Free4All challenge this week was all about Zebras. The only zebra stamp I have is the same one that Shirley used on her sample card, and I didn't really need a juvenile-type card today. I'm always needing Thinking of You cards for my church card ministry, so I went with zebra-striped paper for my background. I also used a technique I learned in a card class about a month ago -- faux leather using a piece of foam sheeting. It was pretty easy and gave a really nice look. You heat the foam sheet with your heat gun and then stamp the image onto the sheet. And it does look like leather!

A very pretty card. I love the the technique and I am going to try to remember to try it. How wonderful that you are doing a card ministry at church. Thank you, for playing the F4A challenge.
It’s a lovely tree, and I bet the first thing the recipient will do is reach out and touch the leather like texture. The zebra paper is great! Thanks for sharing!

I love that you made the kind of card that fits your need. I should do that more often. I too otten have this wierd assortment of cards that don't seem to fit any event or situation just because I thought it should follow the challenge.
