I was inspired by the horrible cold rainy day Vancouver had today. I used the sentiment Happy Spring in a slightly ironic way as spring recently started and my card depicts what seems to be happening weather-wise here! Not our usual balmier spring!
I created the background with blue and a tiny bit of brown Bister on coated cs. When dry, I stamped the woman and sentiment with black StazOn. I tried to get the puddles at the bottom of the woman on the brown part - mud puddles seem to be a big part of spring around here! I added some grey Nuvo drops to represent raindrops but they don't show up that well in the photo.

That background is perfect for a dismal rainy day. That is what we are having today. I love the stamp of that woman and the umbrella! The Nuvo drops are a great spattering of rain!

What an elegant lady on a very wet, windy Spring day..the kind of Spring we have been having on the Oregon Coast. I LOVE your mud puddles with your Bisters and your Nuvo rain drops. They show up fine!
TFS your beauty, Susan. Hugs..
