This stencil (including the stenciled dots in the BG) is part of the Sweet Soiree suite. The rose was sponged with varying shades of pink, then traced with a journaling pen. Stencil was removed and I sponged over the lines between with Powder Pink. Then, I used a journaling pen to doodle some texture into the petals.
The leaf was made with the medallion from Pattern Party Decorative Masks. I added doodling with Journaling Pens and then with Pear Pizzazz marker. Finally, I covered the whole thing with Wink of Stella.
This Artist Trading Card is for my ATC Technique Album.

I really like this - it makes me think of Spanish pottery - and the leaf almost looks like fabric. I like the effect of the outline tracing sponged over with pink - so it gives real definition but with lightness, not like a solid line image.

Stenciling your flower and then sponging over the white areas give this flower a cohesive look - I like all those wavy lines you penned onto the petals.
