I love the layered ferns in this image here but went bolder in the colors.
I started by embossing the ferns in white and then gold embossing, then I sponged in 3 different green DI inks. Then I overstamped the fern in one of my greens and black, sponged some more black and a 4th green around the base of the card, embossed the sentiment on black cs, and finally splattered the main panel with black ink, white acrlylic paint, and a product that I have never used before. This was demonstrated in the Make-it-Monday video for Papertrey ink: splattering with gold chunky enamel. I like the look but found I needed to use my versamark pen to make the splats first, in order for the enamel powder to stick.

Your layered ferns are spectacular, Maura. And, how fun to get to use something new on your card. The gold splatters look great. Beautiful card!

As I love the green light coming in the forest best, this just hits a special note with me. Thanks for the details, I see myself casing this card so into my favorites.
