Well, this is one of my "everything but the kitchen sink" kind of cards.....start with no idea of what I want to do, keep adding stuff until you collapse under the table in a coma, covered in ink, glitter and glue. I started with a piece of yupo, dropped Adirondack ink and blended with 99% rubbing alcohol. It looked like water, so I found a digi mermaid and colored her with copics and fussy cut her out. I used a little gesso before shaping her with a stylus and popping her up with pop dots. The shell frame is from a beach scene digi...i cut the scene away and just used the frame. I colored that with copics and fussy cut a few of the shells and popped them up with pop dots. Then I went a little crazy with sand, perfect pearls, glossy accents, and stickles. Now grab your favorite beverage and come play along in this fun F4A challenge. TFL, Francie

I love how beautifully colorful your card is and I love your write up, so hilarious!! I can just imagine you under the table full of glue and glitter with color all over your hands!!!(PS, shampoo your hair, the best way to remove unwanted color from the hands!). Your card is so beautiful and so cute at the same time!!! Love it Francie!

Ohhhhhh I love nothing more than seeing an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink-Francie card in the gallery. This is an absolute jaw dropper - well worth the comatose state that you found yourself in. The depth of colour, dimension and texture you achieved with the ink is pure magic. Your mermaid is outstanding my friend. Wow what a card!!!

WOW, Francie!! I am beyond words to describe how marvelous this is; however, I will try! Oh, my this is a magnificent piece of art. The mermaid is splendidly colored in remarkably bright and beautiful colors, as is the rest of the card. I love the beautiful shells along the border and the texture on the card. Your description of the process you went through to create this piece of art is hilarious and gives a fantastic vision. I so look forward to more of your "everything but the kitchen sink" cards, my friend! Between you and Robin, I'm too intimidated to submit anything for this challenge!

Gorgeous background! And adding the gesso for a shadow around her was a genius idea, it looks great. Your frame reminds me of a treasured little snow-globe style aquarium I had when I was little. I thought I was seeing real sand there, it looks great.
DH is really impressed with 'Happy Day", currently on my bed table but that's probably not the safest place long-term.
