I knew I would find the perfect spot to do something like it in my BAJ.
I have been trying to find books of the Bible I have completely neglected and Zephaniah is one one of them.
What a great book. Some say it is actually a summary of all the prophesies before it. I can see that it does that, and in a way I can see it summaries a lot of the Bible and not just prophesies. It holds a lot of warnings and a lot of blessings.
In reading it, I found I had either forgotten or never knew the meaning of the Daughter of Zion. The most common interpretation is it refers to Israel or the Jewish people. I believe it refers to all of us.
So my journaling today is a message to us all to be singing in our hearts because the message is all good news. He will gather us and save us. This is a promise of Truth.
So I am claiming this as fitting this month's BAJ17 challenge theme of Truth.
I drew the image and them added in white and silver gel pen touches. I used water color pencil for the sky (loosely blended with a tiny bit of water).

You did a beautiful job of drawing and coloring the image. I agree there are books that we tend to neglect in the bible, I will have to go back to that book and read it over

Nancy, what a wonderful drawing. Wish I could draw like that. Wonderful Bible journaling...something I wish I could find time to do.
