CAS473 = Oh Happy Day - show something that makes you happy for March 20, the International Day of Happiness.
Spring makes me very happy - I love seeing my garden come to life again with the perennials starting to regrow, the early bulbs blooming, and the birds getting busy building nests. Right now I have lots of snowdrops blooming in my garden - they make me so happy after the dreariness of winter. And they even kept blooming right through a little bit of late snow we had two weeks ago.
I stamped the image with Archival ink, watercoloured with my Gansai Tambi paints, added a sentiment (to me, the snowdrops truly do say "Hello Spring"), trimmed the panel, popped it up on fun foam, and added a bit of glitter to the snowy areas.
It's also for the CAS Watercolour challenge where the March theme is "Garden". It's open till March 24th if you want to join in.

Love the hint of blue wash and the colouring of the pot in particular looks amazing. Fingers crossed our garden birds won’t have been caught out too badly by the weird weather!

Great image that is beautifully colored. You've got me wishing for Spring even more now. Can't wait to see my garden again.
