I ended up embossing all the sea life in the blue prints set and then colored them however just because, I knew the embossing would hold the watered down color like wells. I didn't really like how the white sea dragons turned out for me so, I was happier with this being greenish blues.
The inspiration piece for this one can be seen here. If you'd like to play along the challenge can be found here There is also a closer look at the coloring on the blog here .

Oh, I love seahorses! I was thinking of doing something similar with a peacock stamp; to stamp it with teal embossing powder. Your card is so pretty! I also love the sentiment!

Stacy, you chose such a fascinating sea creature and I love the way you put your card together with the layers. I haven't used tulle in a while...a reminder I should get it out. I like the of acrylic paint on your card, too. Have a safe trip.

gorgeous. doesn't tulle add so much more than texture. the tag and embossed seahorse are such amazing parts of your card, stacy.

Breathtaking photo to inspire your stunning card! I have loved seahorses since I learned about them in 2nd grade. Funny how we are drawn to certain things! I helped our son do an extensive report on these little guys when he was in elementary school! Your layering as always is exquisite! I love your painted background! I never think to do something like that. It adds a beautiful element to your card. Your glittering seahorse is stunning! Enjoy your day, my friend!!!!
